Ginhar Miya operates a series of Culturally responsive, trauma-informed community events and social inclusion programs that are grounded in Aboriginal ways of knowing, being, and doing. These initiatives will be co-designed with communities and Elders, and include:
• Cultural Connection Workshops: Language revival sessions, on-Country gatherings, weaving, dance, storytelling, and Songlines workshops to celebrate and strengthen Cultural identity and pride.
• Healing Circles and Wellness Yarns: Safe spaces facilitated by trained Aboriginal practitioners for intergenerational healing, mental health and wellbeing support, and connection, with a focus on trauma aware and healing-informed care.
• Youth Empowerment and Leadership Sessions: Day programs focused on leadership, identity, education, and employment pathways, particularly for Aboriginal, CALD, LGBTIQA+ young people and youth living with disabilities.
• Social Inclusion Programs and Community BBQs: Local events that bring together diverse community groups to promote social unity, celebrate Culture, and break down barriers to inclusion.
• Digital Inclusion and Education Hubs: Programs designed to increase access to digital skills and educational tools, including mentoring and educational support for school-aged children and adults alike.
• Community Advisory Yarns: Regular consultation events where community members are invited to shape service delivery and provide feedback on evolving needs and aspirations.
These programs are part of Ginhar Miya’s broader strategy to build stronger, safer, and more inclusive communities through celebration, healing, education, and empowerment.

Ginhar Miya delivers a suite of Growth and Development Education and Training programs designed to empower and grow individuals particularly women, Aboriginal people, and other vulnerable and underrepresented groups. The offerings are trauma aware and healing-informed, Culturally responsive, and co-designed with community members to ensure relevance and impact. Programs include:
• Foundational skills training: Literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy support.
• Vocational training: Accredited short courses in areas such as community services, health and aged care, youth work, hospitality, and environmental care. (these are delivered in partnership with an RTO)
• Financial literacy and life skills: Budgeting, financial planning, tenancy education, and navigating government and societal systems.
• Leadership and advocacy: Programs that support women, young people, and marginalised communities to step into leadership roles and participate in community life.
• Healing-informed educational environments: Integrated mental health, wellness, and Cultural support services to ensure retention and success.
These programs are delivered in community spaces, online, and through mobile outreach models to improve accessibility across rural and remote regions.

Ginhar Miya provides a comprehensive suite of Health and Wellbeing Services that are Culturally responsive, trauma aware and healing-informed, and community-driven. These services are designed to address the holistic needs of individuals and communities, particularly those who are marginalised or vulnerable. Key services include:
• Mental Health and Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Support: Individual and group counselling, healing circles, yarning therapy, and Culturally informed mental health education delivered by Aboriginal and community-based practitioners.
• Family and Domestic Violence Support: Crisis intervention, case management, safety planning, women’s shelters referral support, and Culturally responsive pathways to healing.
• Cultural Healing Programs: Connection to Country initiatives, Cultural mentoring, ceremonies, and support for grief, loss, and intergenerational trauma.
• Lifestyle Workshops: Programs co-designed with local communities focusing on healthy eating, physical movement, and chronic disease prevention.
• Women's Wellbeing Hubs: Safe spaces for women to access health education, reproductive health services, and peer support networks.
• Outreach Services: Mobile service delivery models to reach remote, regional, and underserved communities.
All services are aligned with best practices in Culturally responsive care and aim to create healing environments where individuals feel safe, supported, and respected.
